Contortions

No special meaning behind this particular name. But have you ever tried balancing a ring, on a tiny and incredibly smooth stone, after moisturizing your hands? 

Sapphires set into sterling and plated with gold. This was one of my favourite early finds. It came from a bulk lot and may have pulled an air punch when an expert confirmed it wasn't glass. 

Excellent condition. Sized at about 7. Well moisturized.
