Heart of Glass

Love the simple things. Sterling silver set with a dark, luminous, piece of red glass.

Glass used to put me off - like carnations in a bouquet - or make me undervalue pieces despite the design.   

But then I remembered that glass is primarily sand. Which means remnants of ancient things are woven through the heart of this ring.

And it’s pretty. So are carnations. I sold them short in the past. Not anymore.
