Bohemian

For the better part of two millenniums the Bohemian Waxwing - smallish fruit bird with a love for fruit- was believed to glow in the dark or emit light. At least until the 16th century, when a famed Italian bird specialist kept and observed one in his home for roughly three months.*  

Three opals set into sterling. Very good condition. Band shows wee signs of wear at the base. Metal mark within. Enjoyed a gentle polish. Always leave deep cleans to pros. Sized at 8.5. 

Colour shifts under every level of light. Candles preferred. Open to daytime adventures as well.
