Coin pearls are cultured, as most are in modern life, and created through the implantation of a tiny flat object inside a living mollusk. The goal, in part, extraordinary lustre. Years of meticulous care can yield spectacular results.*

As we can see. Stunning vintage set. Peacock or a blend of storm grey and blue-black with iridescent surfaces.

Enjoyed a bit of a makeover. Restrung and finished with a new sterling clasp.* 

Length 16-inches. Will rest just at or above the collarbone. 

Staying put. Ideally with someone with a love of the wilder things.
