Dear mystery designer, incredible work. 

No master craftsman story to tell so why not expand on the marvel this beauty was named for. One the greatest performers of all time. And the toughest.  

First, the necklace. Rhinestones cut to capture all the light. Beautiful vintage condition. Golden tone. Think Oscar. Enjoyed a gentle clean and buff. As always, recommend a deep clean be handled by pros. Suspect the hook was replaced. The original likely carried the maker's mark.

Length 12 to 16 inches. Love an extender chain. 

Back to Ms. Garland. In 1959, after a lifetime of crushing every avenue in show business, Garland was warned by her doctors that "decades of stress from overwork would prevent her from further performance."

So, as one does, she launched a legendary comeback tour with the final show at Carnegie Hall, in NYC. *
