This was going to be a collection name. Probability remains high. 

Will lead with this lightly battered luminous ring. 

Domed opal set into what I’m 87 per cent sure is sterling silver.

Strongly suspect the base ring is plated with or contains a decent quantity of gold.  

It’s the dents. Sterling is hardy stuff. Gold, not so much. 

Size 9. Enormous gleam from within. Unlikely to learn source of surface scarring. Or what lies beneath.
