Milk Glass

Milk glass is a personal favourite. And a bit of a trick to explain. Turning to Martha Stewart.  

"It was porcelain for the masses, an inexpensive substitute for luxurious tableware and accessories made by such companies as Wedgwood and Spode, whose designs it sometimes imitated shamelessly,” as detailed in the article linked below.

Early examples trace back as far as 1500 B.C., the author notes, so timeless appeal is a fair description.

While found in beads this is the first clip-on in my collection. And it is glorious.
