Monet:Midnight

Monet always being a little bit extra. In the best of ways. 

Midnight blue, hand-knotted, glass beads. Bottomless depth. Not entirely subtle level of shine. 

Brothers Michael and Jay Chernow opened their design business in 1927. At first, they crafted art deco plaques for purses, before launching Monet in 1937. *

The rest is costume jewelry history. 

About 30-inches total length. Very good condition. Strong clasp. Beads passed the gentle but not wild tug to ensure knots held.
