Monet: "Tis But A Scratch"

Monet, do you ever get tired of being right?  

Carved to capture all the light. Will release back to the world when it’s good and ready.

Surface in excellent vintage condition. Suspect part of a beloved set. Finish on top and bottom of band appears to have worn over time. See photos. Likely cause, clanking.

Could be by design. Not an expert. 

Prefer to imagine it earning its scars during a long, wild, fashionable life. With close friends.
