Marcasite set into sterling. Luminous glow.  "Can actually spark when struck with iron or flint."* 

Pendant crafted to slide off the chain. Some nights a perfect delicate silver braid is more than enough. Love functional design.

Metal stamps on both pendant and chain. Some 20-inches. Excellent condition.
