Hoarfrost

When unfavourable conditions bring something beautiful. 

Hoarfrost is the shimmering coating of ice crystals clinging to plants that have become cooler than the surrounding air.* Think a chilly night and warm morning. It does signal time is short...but what a way to begin their reunion with the earth. 

Vintage glazed glass. Unknown age. Very good condition. No visible cracks or chips.

The deeper blue of the two is entirely smooth and frosted with silver and flecks of gold. Sized at almost a 9.

The ribbed ring has lost a small patch of glaze, mostly silver in tone, inside and close to the blue band. Sized at 8. 

Fan of warmer months. Practically speaking or when outdoors. Does love a deep chill. Temperature. Personality. Etc.
