Vendôme: Arc

Vendôme, always a pleasure. And a winding tale.

Vendôme came to be in 1944 thanks to legendary design house Cohn & Rosenberger (Later Coro) when they rebranded the company's higher-end line. Named after Paris's famous Place Vendôme the designs were meant to match whatever French locals adorned themselves with at the time.* 

Designers understood the assignment. 

Vintage rhinestone clips. Signs of a life well-lived includes discolouration across some of the stones. Resin, the web informs me, discolours over time if not stored properly.

Extraordinary sparkle and spirit remains intact.
