Weiss: Indulgence
When the auction gods step up to answer your prayers.
Vintage Weiss clip-ons. Milk glass or resin cast is the creamiest of shades. Icy clear and perfectly set rhinestones. This pair was snapped up as part of a trio of entirely unique but equally stunning Weiss creations.
Albert Weiss honed his craft in the early 1930s (working at Cohn & Rosenberger or what would become Coro) before stepping out on his own in the 1940s.* Weiss's approach out of the gate was to produce the very best in class, no matter the fashion, and quickly earned them a cult following. The company is still in operation, for good reason.
Good vintage condition. Minor signs wear across centre swirls when viewed up close. Rhinestones set to high shine and in beautiful shape. Sturdy backings. Must be viewed up close.
Enjoyed a gentle buff, as finishes are tricky, and any deep clean should go to a pro.
Always up for a night on the town. Perfectly happy to stay in. Loves a good reality bake-off. Views low fat dairy with healthy level of suspicion.
