Cloisonné: Buy Yourself Flowers

Love learning how things are made. These floral doves were created using a technique* known as Cloisonné. Paste enamel is applied to metal. Then all is polished to a mirror or minutely raised finish.    

Extremely good condition. Satisfying clank. Preposterous depth. White entirely smooth. Blue, a hint of texture. Red a touch more. A small scuff on one side. Squinting required.

Sizing: White measures about 8-and-a-half inches around. Blue and red just a bit smaller. The point where my wrist meets my hand is about 6.
